Casual Friday: Pre Fall Faves!

HTML email (plussizesblog.blogspot.com)

TGIF all!

I can’t believe Fall is almost here! It seems like we wait FOREVER for Spring & Summer and then it zips by.  Although I’m sad to see Summer go, Fall is one of my favorite seasons.  I always look forward to adding a few pieces to my wardrobe to ease the seasonal transition.  Below are  a few items that are on my list for Fall.  I always look for versatile pieces to mix and match with items that are already in my closet.

Polka Dot Trench from Modcloth:  Looking to replace your old trench coat this Fall? Look no further!  Pair this trench with a striped shirt and jeans to rock mixed prints and elevate your casual look.

Faux leather pleated midi skirt from Charlotte Russe: What more can I say?!  This skirt looks good on EVERY body type! Plus it’s less than $30!!!

Denim culottes from Eloquii: These definitely up your jean game a notch! Dress them up with a blouse and heels for a chic but comfy date night outfit.

Tassle earrings from Bauble Bar: These are an easy way to ease into a statement earring without going crazy. They also come in a variety of Fall colors!

Sign Me Up Gladiator flats from Nine West: This seasons hottest shoe is something EVERYONE can wear.  The rich burgundy color screams Fall and goes with a variety of colors and prints. P.S. these go up to size 11.

Carryall Tote from Gap: A tote that goes with everything is must in any closet. This bag from Gap completely fits the bill.  It’s roomy enough to go from work, school and everything in between.

Tie Neck Blouse from Forever 21: This blouse is a nod to the 70’s trend that is hot for Fall. Pair it with your faux leather pleated skirt (hint, hint!), black blazer and a pair of leopard print heels for a cool work outfit.

Women’s Plus Mid Rise Stovepipe Pants from Old Navy: OR you could wear the blouse with these CUTE leopard print pants and a pair of black loafers for a cute Casual Friday outfit!

Which of these items would you buy for the Fall?

Have a wonderful weekend!

modcloth, polka dot trench coat, plus size trench coats, pleated faux leather midi skirt, plus size midi skirts, plus size fake leather skirts, fake leather pleated skirt, lace up flats, nine west flats, denim culottes, plus size culottes, plus size jeans, tassle earrings, statment earrings, tote bags, black tote bags, bags under $100, faux leather tote bags, leopard print, plus size pants, printed plus size pants, old navy plus size pants, forever 21, forever 21 plus, plus size blouses, tie neck blouse,

Do torebki dobrałam czerwoną br ansoletk ę.
Instead of working on my holiday post I was preparing a outfit one. But I wanted to post this outfit so badly. Many of you may be a little surprised that a blogger is posting such a plain outfit, but being honest with you - this is the way I lately like to dress the most. I don't want to show things I am not really wearing just to make it more attractive here, I just want to be authentic. I think that simple outfits accent their owner a lot bett er than this complicated ones. I often saw women entering a room - the first what everyone saw was their outfit a while later their face.

I noticed that this year I just love calm colours, khaki and rosewood are my favourite ones but I also love grey, beige and sometimes black. I like to add a saturated colour to my calm outfit, both types of colours accent each other perfectly. This time I decided to add some red with my bag and bracelet. I must admit, the bag is less then a week old and it became very important to me. It was chosen by my dad for me, after my mums approval it was bought and given to me during my dads last visit. I love this bag, not only for its colour but for the metallic elements that are gold (most of the bags have them in silver) and it got a lot of pockets! The red bracelet is a souvenir from on of my trips to Poland :)

Model Mondays: Beauty Is Timeless, Meet 84-Year Old Supermodel Madame Carmen Dell’Orefice

HTML email (plussizesblog.blogspot.com)

fierce

She is the world’s oldest working model, and at the young age of 84, Madame Carmen Dell’Orefice is still working the runway! Dell’Orefice, who landed her first Vogue cover at age 15, has spent seven decades in the fashion industry ever since.

Accoriding to Dell’Orefice, staying in the industry requires the ability to adapt and to become a chameleon: “”Anyone who doesn’t change is missing a lot in life because that’s a control thing and once you think you know everything, you’re a dead duck.”

Dell’Orefice has evolved over her 70-year reign. Take a look below for a glimpse of her work:
